5754 5083 Aluminum Sheet for Trailers
In Europe and the United States, 80% of semi-trailers are aluminum alloys, and in Japan, the market share of aluminum alloy semi-trailers even exceeds 90%. Compared with steel trailers, aluminum alloy trailers can effectively achieve overall lightweight of the vehicle, improve load-bearing performance, and improve transportation efficiency; in addition, when loading the same weight of goods and operating the same route, aluminum alloy trailers achieve excellent fuel economy due to their light weight.
Al-Mn series, Al-Mg series, and Al-Mg2Si series alloys are commonly used materials for aluminum alloy powder tank semi-trailers. 5083-O and 5083 h112 has a sufficient market practice basis as a tank material for powder tank trucks.

Moreover, 5754 aluminum plate has strong corrosion resistance and can greatly extend the service life of tank trucks.
5754 aluminum alloy is a typical Al-Mg alloy containing 2.6-3.6% magnesium. The addition of magnesium causes Mg2Si in the matrix to precipitate to provide strengthening. The common tempers are 5754 h111 aluminum, and 5754 H22, H12, H14, H114, etc.
